after tinkering around with the vine-loaded laptop >>6, I came to the realisation.
How user friendly are mature linux distros (ubuntu, mint, fedora). A simple example:

$ > gocr
The program 'gocr' is currently not installed.  You can install it by typing:
sudo apt-get install gocr
bash: gocr: command not found

The system will search for the package and what to type to install the said package. very efficient and productive. Type the stuff, wait for the download and voila!

vine has synaptic shipped as well, but because vine is an independent based distro, one cannot just use ubuntu/fedora repositories.
So has to compile source code and going through hours of dependencies issue and downloads.

Ah well, at least I brought my own personal laptop so I can continue working, hurrah!.

*Sometimes*, A slight mindset change is all it takes to get high quality and cheap product in a short time.

Extremely and Frustratingly difficult.
Only in recent weeks that I thought about this.
That I loved inadequately.

Sometimes I do good just to make satisfy others or myself.
Because I thought, "hey, I am helpful to others"

Why so? The differences are very clear in these 2 cases:

case 1: I helped Mr. xyz bought a screwdriver because in my opinion he would need it to repair something broken. And true enough, he was happy when I gave him the screwdriver and paid me back for the screwdriver.

case 2: I helped Mr. xyz bought a screwdriver because in my opinion he would need it to repair something broken. But when I gave him the screwdriver, turns out that he already owns a screwdriver, but anyhow he is willing to pay me back for the screwdriver I initially bought for him.

(After typing out the examples, I don't think they are that good, but anyway)

On the first case, I am much more happy unlike the second case. But shouldn't that be the case if my doing is purely based on love?

Probably the reason why I can be so close with some friends is none other than because it's requiting.

Finally some progress after some advises given by Mr. Yuku >>[yuku]

Downloaded rpm version of oracle express edition, convert to cpio using rpm2cpio

*rpm2cpio in.rpm > out.cpio*

extract:

*cpio -idmv < out.cpio*
