My web server at dreamhost was down more than 30 hours! They said it's hardware problem and they needed to restore from backup. That seems true, because when I was able to ssh to it (albeit very laggy), I could see 0.0% cpu idle and > 90% cpu IO wait.

My web server at dreamhost was down more than 30 hours! They said it's hardware problem and they needed to restore from backup. That seems true, because when I was able to ssh to it (albeit very laggy), I could see 0.0% cpu idle and > 90% cpu IO wait.

But I have my projects hosted on svn there. That means I couldn't commit new code while it was down. Only then I wanted to use *hg* again...
